(1)I do not have MSC.Marc or MSC.Mentat. What will happen?
Answer:Meshman will be installed successfully.
The mesh generator of Meshman creates mesh data for MSC.Marc even if MSC.Marc is not
installed on the same machine. If you transger the created mesh data file to a different
machine on which MSC.Marc is installed, you can perform analysis on that different machine.
If you need to convert mesh data for other solvers, contact our support. We will inform you how much we can handle your problem on a case-by-case basis.
(2)What is ethernet adapter's physical address and how I get my machine's ethernet adapter's
address.
Answer:The ethernet phyical address is a 6 byte hexadecimal number each ethernet adapter
has as its identification number. It is written like 00-11-22-DD-EE-FF. On Windows NT and
Windows 2000, you first launch a command prompt window and type as follows.
c:\>ipconfig /all
Then the info like the following example will be displayed in the window.
